The Urban Fitness League is a professional league that launched in 2018 and features the top extreme calisthenics athletes in the world.
The launch was co-hosted by television sensation Mario Lopez and model/actor Tyson Beckford, along with music by rappers Dave East, Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana nationally syndicated hip-hop sensation DJ Envy. The UFL athletes were joined by USA Team Head Coach and two-time national Golden Gloves winner, Mike Rashid and World Team Head Coach and Musclemania Universe Champion, Simeon Panda.
RPR worked with World Series of Fighting (WSOF) to build the profile of the Urban League and its CEO Carlos Silva and to publicize their NYE fight-night by building anticipation, helping to increase ticket sales and viewership, and generate maximum television exposure for Carlos Silvia and individual fighters to promote the fight.
RPR also helped positioned WSOF as the premiere MMA promotional company in the world and established Carlos Silva as a visionary and innovative leader in the sports world while also highlighting the boutique nature of WSOF as being a more responsible, interactive and fan-friendly approach to MMA. We also differentiated the company’s approach from competitors based on its quality of fighters. RPR secured features with top regional and national print and broadcast media outlets, including AM New York, Complex, EXTRA, HOT 97, Metro NY, PIX-11 TV, and OK! Magazine.
