Mizuho Securities

Mizuho Securities USA is the U.S. investment banking subsidiary of Japanese megabank Mizuho Financial Group.

Mizuho is one of the world’s largest financial institutions, with $1.6 trillion in assets and 50,000 employees in 30 countries.

WhenJohn Koudounis joined the firm in the midst of the global financial crisis, he built and expanded MSUSA into a full-service investment bank.  He accomplished this growth during a period when the rest of Wall Street retrenched and other international banks scaled back in the U.S.  When he was named MSUSA CEO in 2010, he was the youngest CEO appointed on Wall Street. MSUSA engaged Rubenstein Public Relations in the spring of 2015 to secure features and profiles on Mr. Koudounis, focusing on his accomplishments and leading Mizuho’s expansion in the U.S.  RPR secured a profile of Mr. Koudounis in Forbes, which ran both in print and online, in addition to feature coverage in outlets including Institutional Investor, Business Insider, The Banker, and Asiamoney, as well as television and video appearances on Fox Business Network, Bloomberg Television, and TheStreet.com.
