Rubenstein Public Relations was the agency of record for the media relations campaign for Newport, the 600 acre mixed use community in Jersey City, New Jersey.
The $10 billion project was undertaken by Samuel J. LeFrak and his firm The LeFrak Organization, which began development in 1987.
The project includes a number of residential buildings with a population today totaling over 15,000. In addition, the complex includes the Newport Centre Mall, a large shopping center complex anchored by Macy’s, JC Penny, H&M and ZARA, among others. The Newport Office Center consists of over 5 million square feet of office space that caters to major financial institutions and corporate employers.
RPR’s successful media campaign brought international attention and visibility to this major development that flourishes today in the heart of the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan region.
