18 Gramercy

Originally built in 1927, 18 Gramercy Park is an 18-story Georgian Revival building located at the corner of Gramercy Park South and Irving Place.

With 40 feet of frontage directly overlooking Gramercy Park and over 130 feet facing east on Irving Place, each residence offers incredible park views from nearly every room and a key to Manhattan’s only private park.

RPR was tasked with developing substantial, impactful media coverage that would create a unique profile for 18 Gramercy Park in New York’s highly competitive real estate market.

In the fall of 2012, RPR launched its media relations program as 18 Gramercy Park hit the market, immediately saturating nearly every top real estate and business publication, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, New York Post, Real Estate Weekly, Avenue, New York Observer, Forbes, Crain’s New York Business, Bloomberg, Curbed, Business Insider and The Real Deal, among others.

RPR sustained a consistent presence for the building in the media throughout its sales process as it met key milestones. In 2013, 18 Gramercy Park achieved the highest per square foot sales numbers of any new development in the city, averaging sales in excess of $4,000 per square foot. Coverage ultimately culminated in multiple features on the sale of the $42 million penthouses in outlets, including The Wall Street Journal’s coveted “Private Properties” section.
